President Sebit Gordon of the South Sudanese Chamber of Commerce in Kenya (SSCC-K) has implemented a firm stance on membership dues, resulting in the unlisting of over 300 businesses. Following a two-week grace period after his assumption of office, the Chamber revoked the memberships of those who had not renewed their annual subscription fees. This decisive action aims to streamline the Chamber's operations and ensure the active participation of its members. In a related development, the SSCC-K has announced the establishment of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. This new branch will focus on nurturing a young talent pool with skills, knowledge and networks through youth entrepreneurship, skills development, mentorship & innovation programs.
